The Washington Division provides engineering, construction and technical services for environmental management, industrial/process, infrastructure, mining and power projects. The Division is a leader in design-build and design-build-operate-maintain services for transportation projects, including airports, mass transit systems and toll roads. Through the Washington Division, we provide engineering, construction, start-up, modification and maintenance expertise for every form of power-generating facility, as well as the systems that transmit and distribute electricity.
The Washington Division manages high-risk, technically complex programs and facilities, including nuclear waste management and disposal programs for the U.S. Department of Energy and other federal agencies. The Division also is a leading mining contractor and provides engineering, construction, and facility management and maintenance services to commercial and industrial clients worldwide.
URS provides full life cycle engineering, construction and technical services to public and private sector clients worldwide. Our diversity of experience serves four key market sectors: power, infrastructure, federal/national governments, and industrial and commercial.
