The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is a multi-discipline federal design and construction engineering agency responsible for managing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the U.S. Navy's shore facilities around the world with an annual volume of business in excess of $11 billion. NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is based in Norfolk, VA and serves Navy and Marine Corps facilities in ME, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, WV, VA, and NC. Specialization:
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is the U.S. Navy's shore infrastructure design and construction agent (i.e. the Navy's version of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). We are a multi-discipline federal civilian engineering organization responsible for the planning, design, construction, environmental compliance, and maintenance of the Navy's facilities (buildings, piers, hangars, housing, gyms, etc.) around the world. Our Atlantic and Mid-Atlantic offices are both located in Norfolk, but we do work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region from North Carolina to Maine and across the United States. NAVFAC as a whole has offices throughout the U.S. and overseas.
